Easy Ways to Make Money

Things in life cost money. That's just the fact of it. If you want a car, you need money to pay for it. If you want a new pair of jeans, you need money to pay for it. If you want to live in a house without being supported by someone else, you need money to pay for it.

Most people get a job in order to pay for the things they want. The probably is that the money you make from a job, even a full time job, isn't always enough to pay for what you want. That is probably why you are looking for easy ways to make money.

Here are 10 easy ways to make money. Do one, two, or even more to make some extra cash.

1. Get a part time job.

This is probably the easiest one to do. You get a job, do the job, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get paid for it. There are lots of places to find part time work. Try to get a job in the field you are in with the most experience in order to get the highest paying job, or try something new.

2. Sell stuff.

This is another easy one, but you have to have stuff to sell first. Search your house for things you don't want or need anymore. You can even ask friends and family if there is anything they want to get rid of.

You can have a yard sale and do pretty well. This works best if you have a lot of stuff to sell and a good place to set up your yard sale. If you need ways to make money on a consistent basis, you may want to try selling stuff online.

Ebay is a great place to sell stuff. You can even find stuff at other people's yard sales and sell it for more on Ebay. Lots of people do really well with this and some people even make it a full time business.

If you don't have anything tangible to sell, consider selling your skills. You could babysit, do landscaping, take care of pets, clean houses, etc. Any of these things can even be done on the side to make quite a bit of money.

4. Take Online surveys

This is a newer way to make money as the internet came about. There are lots of sites out there where you can take online surveys and fill out offers and get paid for it. You have to be careful though, some are scams.

Look for programs that have been around for a while and as if people get paid frequently. Also, stay away from ones that claim you can make a ridiculous amount of money in a very short time. It's very unlikely you'll ever be able to make $300 an hour with any of these programs.

5. Cash in your coins.

With Coinstar, cashing in coins has become easier and a great way to find some extra money. You would be surprised at how much money you have in change. Check the couch cushions, watch the streets, turn in bottles and cans, and make some extra dough.

6. Start your own business.

This is one of the ways to make money that is not quite so easy. It will take more time and effort, but it will be more lucrative in the long run. Of course, remember that many new businesses fail within the first 18 months, but that shouldn't discourage you.

If you have a great idea, go for it! Go head first! Make sure you run it by a few people to see if it seems viable. Make sure you trust they won't take your idea.

7. Invest.

This is another fairly easy way to make money, as long as you have money to begin with. It can be difficult to learn what to invest in and how to choose stocks, bonds, etc. But if you invest in mutual funds, you can forgo all the tough stuff and just earn a return. Of course, as I said, you have to have money to start with.

Do you have a plasma center near you?  You could sell your plasma and get $20 or more for it.  You can only do it once every certain amount of days, though.  I wouldn't make this a consistent thing to do, but if you need a bit of cash fast, it will do.

9.  Write content for online business.

One of my favorite ways to make money is to write web content.  You don't have to be Hemmingway to supply online content.  You just need to be able to construct a basic article and do research behind it.  You can sell your content writing services on online forums.

If you love to write and want to be more serious with it, you can become a freelance writer and try to write for magazines, newspapers, etc. but this is more like a business and will take more work.

10.  Be creative.

If you're still stuck on trying to find easy ways to make money, just be creative.  Find a need and fill it.  The more creative you can be, the less likely you'll have competition and you can make more money.
